2025-26 Annual Grant Cycle Now Open

Great news, everyone! The BCTRA’s annual granting cycle for Growth, Operations, and Equine Assisted Services Professional Development is officially open to all Level A Members in good standing for at least 12 months!

We’re thrilled to invite you to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity—be sure to submit your grant applications by December 12, 2025!

This year, we are excited to offer several valuable grant opportunities:

1. Growth Grants – Perfect for developing new programs, enhancing existing ones, or investing in volunteer training and support.

2. Operational Grants – Designed to support program and facility operations, including expansion and equipment purchases. These funds can help to build capacity and ensure safe, inclusive experiences for all participants.

3. Equine Assisted Services (EAS) Professional Development Grants – Tailored to support your professional growth through continuing education, certification advancement, and participation in conferences or workshops.

Our grant funding comes from membership fees and generous contributions from The BCTRA Maggie Carpenter Trust, managed by The Vancouver Foundation.

We’re committed to meeting various objectives with the funds available to our members each year. An external committee will review all applications, and we encourage you to consider your needs carefully—though there are currently no limits on requested amounts, typical submissions range from $1,000 to $5,000.

**A friendly reminder:** If you received funding in the 2024-25 cycle, please submit your Grant Report before applying for new financing. Complete ONE FORM per grant RECEIVED.
