CanTRA Certification & Accreditation:
Pathways, Requirements, and Q&A
July 20th, 2026 @ 4:30pm PST
This facilitated presentation by representatives from CanTRA will provide an overview of instructor certification and centre accreditation pathways within the Canadian therapeutic riding sector. Participants will gain clarity on current requirements, expectations, and processes related to both certification and accreditation, as well as how these frameworks support safe, ethical, and effective programming.
The session is designed for BCTRA members and will be led by CanTRA to encourage open dialogue and shared understanding. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss practical considerations related to certification and accreditation in their own centres and professional practice.
Additional members of the CanTRA Accreditation Committee may be present to support discussion and provide further insight as needed, ensuring a thorough and responsive Q&A segment.
UNABLE TO ATTEND? All REGISTRANTS will receive a link to the recorded presentation open for 30 days to review. Please allow 1-2 days for posting of recording. All MEMBERS receive unlimited access to ALL round table recordings in the portal.
