This webinar will explore the distinctions between hippotherapy and therapeutic riding, clarify related terminology, and examine how various equine-assisted programs can benefit clients across different life stages. We will cover the education and training needed to incorporate hippotherapy into therapy plans, address common challenges and barriers in the Canadian context, and highlight opportunities for international networking. Finally, we will discuss strategies to enhance collaboration between therapists and riding instructors to improve service accessibility and client outcomes.
