Congratulations! 2025-26 Grant Distribution Announcement
The BC Therapeutic Riding Association
has awarded $50,000 to 13 Equine-Assisted Service (EAS) providers throughout British Columbia. This funding supports various initiatives, including developing new programs, purchasing equipment, training for international conferences, and exploring equine-inspired programs. The recipient organizations offer various services, such as therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, therapies, and para-equestrian sports.
The successful recipients are:

SUNSHINE COAST
Roberts Creek Ranch (TROTSC – Therapeutic Riding on the Sunshine Coast)
Powell River Therapeutic Riding Association
BC INTERIOR – KOOTENAYS
Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Association
Creston Valley Society for Therapeutic Horsemanship
Prince George Therapeutic Riding Association
Little Oasis Equine Matters
Kyra Londos Equestrian
LOWER MAINLAND
Pony Pals Therapeutic Riding Assn
Urban Horse Project
Southlands Therapeutic Riding Society (STaRS)
Funds were made available to BCTRA Level A Members in good standing through three grants: Growth, Operational and Developing Equine Assisted Service Professionals.
BCTRA has awarded over $390,000 to our members through the BCTRA Maggie Carpenter Trust since 2017. Our next granting cycle will be announced in September 2026.
