BCTRA 2018-19 Grants Given

The BC Therapeutic Riding Association (BCTRA) has awarded $21,000 in funding to 12 therapeutic riding and para-equestrian organizations in British Columbia. The successful recipients are:

Funds were made available to BCTRA Group Members in good standing through two granting streams Growth and Development and Developing Professionals. This round of funding saw $14,565 in Growth and Development dollars go to a wide range of program, horse care and capacity building projects and an additional $6449 support training for instructors and volunteers. conference participation and disability awareness projects.

In the coming months the BCTRA Board of Directors will be reviewing our funding strategy to allow for more funding options available throughout the year.
