BCTRA Open Grant Deadline – Equipment and Bursaries

BCTRA Open Grants are available to any BCTRA Individual Member who has been in good standing for a minimum of 12 months. Applicants must demonstrate an active interest in either therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, para-equestrian or equine-facilitated wellness and be prepared to provide references stating their activities.

Open Grant: Equipment Funding – BCTRA – BC Therapeutic Riding

The Equipment Funding grant program is for Groups and Individual Members requiring equipment, supplies, or training to ensure the safe delivery and participation in one of the pillars that BCTRA supports (therapeutic riding, para-equestrian, and EFW). BCTRA recognizes the need for specialized equipment and supports all efforts to create a safe environment for all participants.

The BCTRA Bursary Funding program is designed for Individual Members wishing to participate in BCTRA Group Member programs or to take training through accredited service providers. BCTRA Bursaries are intended for Individuals Members wanting to explore different aspects of therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, para-equestrian or equine-facilitated wellness either through programs, courses, clinics, events, or competition
