Here’s a breakdown of our three annual grant streams to inspire
your application as you race towards Friday’s deadline:
EAS Growth Grant
For developing or enhancing programs, upgrading facilities, or supporting volunteers.
Examples:
- Enhancing existing programming (e.g., new aspects to current programs)
- Expanding programs with new spaces (e.g., work areas, pens, classrooms)
- Developing capacity to meet growing needs
- Volunteer training and support
EAS Operational Grant
For facility improvements, program expansion, or acquiring equipment to ensure safe and inclusive experiences. These projects aim to enhance both the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of an organization, supporting its growth and impact.
Examples:
- Upgrades for safety (e.g., mounting ramps, arena footing, lighting)
- New safety equipment for horses, participants, or the environment
- Diversifying Revenue Streams, managing fundraising or partnership initiatives
- Operational/Office Efficiencies: including process streamlining, technology integration or Staff Training and Development.
EAS Professional Development Grant
For professional training and education to enhance skills within your organization.
Examples:
- Instructor certifications (e.g., CanTRA, PATH Intl., CHA)
- Mental Health First Aid or Horse First Aid training
- Trauma-informed training for facilitators working with youth
