We have some incredibly exciting news to share! Thanks to your amazing participation and voice in our past two Special General Meetings (SGMs), we are officially entering a brand-new chapter.

Our community is growing, and we are taking some major steps forward to better represent and support all of you. Here is a quick wrap-up of the big decisions we made together:

We’re Growing Our Leadership! 
To make sure we have plenty of diverse perspectives guiding our path forward, we voted to expand our Board of Directors. We are officially growing from 7 seats to 9 seats! More hands on deck means more energy, ideas, and support for our amazing community.

Say Hello to BC-EASP! 👋
We wanted a name that truly reflects who we are and what we do—and you agreed! With an overwhelming 90% in favor, we have officially approved our new name:

BC Association of
Equine Assisted Services Professionals
(BC-EASP) 

This new identity represents our commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and excellence across all equine-assisted services throughout British Columbia.

What’s Next?
Now for the extra fun part! We are officially working behind the scenes on our new brand identity, logo, and tagline. We can’t wait to share a look that truly matches the energy, passion, and dedication of our members.
